Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro 8GB 256GB Detailed Descriptions:

Design.

The Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro looks a lot like the Poco X3. There’s a very large ‘POCO’ logo printed on the layer under the back cover. However, at least it’s not like some Realme rivals with a Facebook-grade inspiring quote. Ooh no thanks, the Logo is enough. The back of the phone is designed to look like dual-finish strips of matte and glossy glass. It is all-plastic, unlike the 2020’s Poco X2. This phone and the Poco X3 NFC are largely plastic. There’s no glass bar, the screen cover and top-most protective camera layer. It is quite heavy with a weight of 215 grams and a dimension of 165.3 x 76.8 x 9.4 mm (6.51 x 3.02 x 0.37 in). You will love it.

Display.

You are getting a larger screen than the Xiaomi Poco X3 GT 8GB 256GB and one similar to that of the more expensive Motorola Edge Plus 5G 12GB – 256GB. The 6.67-Inch screen is a pretty strong suit. It is an LCD panel, rather than OLED, with an FHD+ resolution of 2400×1080. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch response rate, both of which appeal for anyone who plays a lot on their phone. The refresh rate can dynamically switch between five speeds, from 30Hz up to 120Hz, meaning that whe requisite the screen can run a little slower to save the battery.

Camera.

The slashes made by Xiaomi to accommodate the improved processor are felt much on the camera. Nevertheless, the camera’s hardware is stereotypical for this range. There’s a 48MP primary camera, a basic 8MP ultra-wide, and two terrible 2MP macro and depth cameras. The numbers are ok but Xiaomi should have concentrated on the quality not the quantity. The Poco X3 Pro’s main camera is noticeably inferior to some of its competitors, including Xiaomi’s own Poco X3 NFC and Redmi Note 10 Pro. Mid-tone contrast is significantly worse, and it seems to make greater use of detail-eradicating noise reduction. However, images are relatively soft, and the softness kicks up a level in the ultra-wide, as is to be expected from a budget 8MP sensor. The Selfie does good with the HDR and Panorama features. You will shoot very detailed photos and record clear videos.

Performance.

Performance is what makes the Poco X3 Pro. The X3 Pro was announced alongside its chipset, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 860. This is an upgraded version of the Snapdragon 855, which is the chipset that powered most of the biggest flagship phones in 2019. Although it doesn’t support 5G, Poco X3 Pro runs Apps very smoothly and games will run with no struggle. Also note that you are missing out on the newer Wi-Fi 6 standard and Bluetooth is limited to the older 5.0 standard.

Battery

The Poco X3 Pro has a 5160 mAh battery larger than that of new Poco X4 Pro 5G. Its life is that of a cat, even with a much punchier processor. The battery remains significant even when browsing, gaming, or playing audio. The battery is also accompanied by a 33W fast charger, which juices it up from 0% to 59% in 30 min and 100% in 59 min (advertised).
