Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus 5G 256GB has pleasant looks. It is made of a glass front (Gorilla Glass Victus+), glass back (Gorilla Glass Victus), and aluminum frame. It also has a triple well-aligned camera on the rear and a single selfie on the upper display. It weighs 28 grams heavier than its sibling the Galaxy S22 5G and has a dimension of 157.4 x 75.8 x 7.6 mm (6.20 x 2.98 x 0.30 in).
Display.
When compared to its junior, Galaxy S22 5G the S22 Plus 5G is a choice when it comes to displaying. It measures 6.6 inches, 106.9 cm2, and has a ~89.6% screen-to-body ratio. The display is Dynamic AMOLED 2X, 120Hz, HDR10+ which delivers 1750 nits (peak). The 1750 nits (Peak) is another reason for you to get the S22 Plus 5G as it provides a brighter, more colorful, and more detailed text compared to its predecessors.
Camera.
The camera of the S22 Plus 5G is similar to that of its sibling the S22 5G with the capability to shoot videos in 8K@24fps, 4K@30/60fps, 1080p@30/60/240fps, 720p@960fps and HDR10+. The triple 50 MP + 10 MP + 12 MP main camera and the 10 MP selfie camera produce clear photos that are perfectly detailed and color balanced.
Performance.
The performance is based on the latest Exynos 2200 (4 nm) chipset which was announced on December 1, 2021, and is manufactured using a 4-nanometer process technology meaning you are getting lag-free performance at the price. With the latest software ready for you, you also experience multitasking on another level with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Overall performance of this phone is good, actually good compared to the new Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 5G and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra.
Connectivity.
The Galaxy S22 Plus 5G 256GB features a stronger and more reliable 5G connectivity than any other phone in the market as of now. It offers Bluetooth, which you can connect to your JBL Box 200 during functions, Wi-fi connectivity, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C 3.2, USB On-The-Go.
Battery.
We are happy with the 4500mAh Li-Ion battery although it is way too small compared to the less affordable Oppo A78 5G, Samsung Galaxy A03 32GB, Galaxy A03 64GB, Vivo Y33s 4GB-128GB, and the new OnePlus 10 Pro. It promises a day-long performance without the worry of recharging. Although it manages to beat some of the budget phones such as the New Nokia C21, it gets a difficult challenge with the Samsung Galaxy A03 Core which packs a more reliable battery, the battery capacity of Galaxy S22 Plus 5G is good, and will support the phone’s functions well. Charging is favored by an adapter of 45W, USB Power Delivery 3.0, Fast Qi/PMA wireless charging of 15W, and Reverse wireless charging of 4.5W.
