Nokia X40 Detailed Description:

Design.

On the design, we expect something more advanced compared to the Nokia X20 and Nokia X10. It will be Nokia’s most eco-friendly phone yet. The looks and feels will be as nice as ones that don’t make such a big deal of their sustainability.

Display.

One thing we are sure of is the OLED 6.56-inch display. This will be coupled with a 120Hz, 1,080×2,400px resolution in a 20:9 aspect for a pixel density of 409ppi. Other new phones with this refresh include the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, Galaxy S23 Plus, Realme 10 Pro, and Realme GT Neo 5.

Camera.

For the go-to cameraphone in Nokia’s current lineup the X30, the number of image capture modules on it doesn’t impress. It only has two cameras on its back, joined by a selfie camera. The main camera on the X30 is based on the Samsung GN5 sensor. The camera app is one of the few custom apps on the Android One Nokia X30. It’s been slightly redesigned coming from the Nokia G21, but there’s not a world of difference between it and any other camera app – as is to be expected, so we expect the Nokia X40 to improve on the whole aspect.

Performance.

Google’s apps handle all the major functionality on the phone. The Photos app is your gallery, Gmail is your email client, and Google’s Calendar is there for your calendar needs. The X40 will feature the latest Chipset so we expect the performance to be top-notch.

Battery.

The X40 will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery, a modest capacity used in the Galaxy A53, Nothing phone (1), and Nothing Phone 2. That said, the capacity isn’t all that unreasonable here, given the not-so-demanding chipset and the display.
