Display:
The Tecno Pop 20C features a big, immersive 6.78-inch display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate โ a standout feature at this entry-level price, as most budget phones still use basic 60Hz screens. The higher refresh rate makes scrolling through social media, browsing, and everyday navigation feel noticeably more fluid, and the large screen is excellent for watching videos, WhatsApp, and gaming. With roughly 85% screen-to-body ratio and HD+ (720 x 1560) resolution, it delivers a spacious, enjoyable everyday viewing experience.
Battery:
Battery life is a real strength of the Pop 20C. Its large 5200mAh battery comfortably delivers a full day and often more of typical use, including calls, messaging, social media, and video, thanks to the power-efficient display and chipset. For anyone dealing with long days or limited charging access, this dependable, long-lasting battery is a genuine everyday benefit, and it supports fast charging over USB Type-C for convenient top-ups.
Performance:
The Pop 20C is powered by the MediaTek Helio G81, an octa-core chip paired with Mali-G52 graphics that handles everyday tasks, browsing, streaming, social media, messaging, and casual gaming, smoothly and reliably. It comes with 4GB of RAM, expandable with virtual RAM up to a total of 8GB by borrowing from storage, which helps keep multitasking fluid. Storage options include 64GB and 128GB, with a microSD slot for further expansion. It runs Android 16, keeping it modern and up to date out of the box.
Camera:
The Pop 20C carries a 13MP main rear camera with LED flash, capturing clear, usable photos in good light for social media and everyday memories. On the front, an 8MP selfie camera handles self-portraits and video calls. Video recording goes up to 1080p, covering day-to-day photo and video needs well for a phone in this budget category.
Durability and Features:
The Pop 20C is built for real-world daily use. It carries an IP64 rating, making it dust tight and resistant to water splashes, so rain, dust, and sweat are no concern. It adds a convenient side-mounted fingerprint sensor for fast, reliable unlocking, dual-SIM support, and USB Type-C. At a slim 7.7mm and around 167mm tall, it is comfortable to hold despite the large screen, making it a practical, dependable everyday phone.
