How to Setup the Mi Wi-Fi Range Extender Pro

To set up your Wi-Fi Range Extender follow these ten steps:

1. Plug in your Wi-Fi Extender Pro in an electrical socket where the Wi-Fi signal is strong.
2. Download and install the Mi Home app on your phone and open it.
3. Tap on the + icon in the top-right corner of your screen and press Add a device.
4. On the next screen, it will ask you to turn on Bluetooth. Tap on Turn on, and it will auto-detect nearby devices.
5. the Range Extender Pro will appear under Add device. Tap on it to proceed.
6. Here, you’ll have to select the Wi-Fi network you want to extend. Select it, enter its password, and tap on Next.
7. It will then ask you to approve the creation of a temporary Wi-Fi network. Approve it by tapping on Continue. Once complete, tap on Done.
8. On the next screen, you can define where the device is placed. You can tap on Create a new room, select the room from the list, or enter a custom name. Once selected, tap on Next.
9. Now, you can set a name for your new Wi-Fi network and add the network to your favorites.
