Design.

Apple has upped the display size from 10.2 to 10.9 inches while removing the previous Home button. As a result, the screen is virtually edge to edge, while the bezels are still visible. Another advantage is that the iPad’s Power button has Touch ID, so you only need to lay your finger on the button to unlock the iPad.

Display. 

The iPad 2022’s 10.9-inch display won’t blow you away, but it’s a nice panel for the price. The bright hues in the settings of Wakanda Forever and The Last of Us will delight you. You’ll also love scrolling through photos on the Photos app. The iPad’s display covers 101.2% of the sRGB color gamut and 71.7% of the more demanding DCI-P3 color space in terms of colors. The panel on the iPad Air scores 111.8% and 79.2%, respectively. If you are looking for a larger display than this then we would advise you to go for the iPad Pro (2022) or the OnePlus Pad.

Performance

The A14 Bionic chip inside the iPad 2022 is quite speedy — it’s the same processor found in the iPhone 12.
