Honor Magic8 Pro in Kenya

The Honor Magic8 Pro price in Kenya is KES 130,000. It is a flagship smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, built around a stunning 6.71-inch LTPO OLED display reaching an exceptional 6000 nits peak brightness, and a pro-grade triple camera headlined by a 200 MP periscope telephoto. It pairs a huge 7100 mAh silicon-carbon battery with 100W wired and 80W wireless charging, rugged IP68/IP69K protection, and Android 16 with MagicOS 10. The Honor Magic8 Pro is available at Phones&Tablets Kenya.

Performance

The Magic8 Pro is powered by Qualcomm’s top-tier Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, built on a 3 nm process with an octa-core layout pairing two high-performance Oryon V3 Phoenix L cores at 4.6 GHz with six Oryon V3 Phoenix M cores at 3.62 GHz, plus the Adreno 840 GPU. This is genuine flagship silicon that handles the most demanding gaming, heavy multitasking, video editing, and on-device AI with ease and efficiency. It comes generously equipped with 512GB of fast UFS 4.1 storage and 12GB of RAM, giving desktop-class capacity and headroom for power users.

Class-Leading Display

The 6.71-inch LTPO OLED display is one of the finest available. It runs at 120Hz for buttery-smooth scrolling and reaches an outstanding 6000 nits peak brightness with 1800 nits in high brightness mode, making it exceptionally readable even in the harshest direct sunlight. It supports 1 billion colours, Dolby Vision, and HDR Vivid for rich, cinematic content, while a high 4320Hz PWM dimming rate reduces the flicker that causes eye strain at low brightness. Resolution is a sharp 1256 x 2808 at roughly 458 ppi, and the NanoCrystal Shield glass with Mohs level 4 hardness protects against scratches.

Pro-Grade Camera

The camera system is genuine flagship territory. It leads with a 50 MP f/1.6 main sensor with a large 1/1.3″ sensor and OIS for excellent detail and low-light capture, joined by a remarkable 200 MP f/2.6 periscope telephoto with OIS and 3.7x optical zoom for stunning long-range shots, and a 50 MP ultrawide with a 122˚ field of view. Laser autofocus and a colour spectrum sensor improve focus speed and colour accuracy. Video recording reaches 4K at up to 120fps with 10-bit HDR. On the front, a 50 MP selfie camera paired with a 3D TOF sensor delivers sharp self-portraits and secure face recognition. The 200 MP telephoto in particular is a standout, giving the Magic8 Pro serious zoom credentials for portraits, wildlife, and events.

Battery and Charging

A massive 7100 mAh silicon-carbon (Si/C) battery powers the phone, using newer cell technology that packs more capacity into the slim 8.3mm chassis. This delivers outstanding endurance — easily a full heavy day and often into a second. Charging is flagship-grade: 100W wired charging refills the huge battery rapidly, and 80W wireless charging is among the fastest available, cable-free. The phone also supports reverse wireless charging to top up earbuds or a watch, plus 5W reverse wired charging.

Rugged IP68/IP69K Build

Durability is a real strength. The Magic8 Pro carries both IP68 and the tougher IP69K rating, meaning it is dust tight and resistant not only to immersion in up to 1.5 metres of water for 30 minutes but also to high-pressure, high-temperature water jets. Combined with the scratch-resistant NanoCrystal Shield front, an aluminium frame, and a glass-fibre reinforced back, this makes the phone exceptionally well protected for daily use, outdoor conditions, and travel.

Connectivity

The Magic8 Pro is thoroughly equipped. It offers Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0 with an extensive codec list including aptX Lossless and LHDC 5, and one of the most comprehensive positioning suites available with dual-band GPS (L1+L5), BDS, GALILEO, QZSS, NavIC, and GLONASS for pinpoint navigation. An infrared port turns the phone into a universal remote, NFC enables contactless payments, and USB Type-C 3.2 with DisplayPort 1.2 supports fast data and external displays. Security is handled by an ultrasonic under-display fingerprint sensor plus Face ID, and large-amplitude stereo speakers round out the media experience. Quad-SIM flexibility comes via dual Nano-SIM plus dual eSIM (max two active at a time).
